We went to Edinburgh for a day and planned to take the return train ride in the evening. But all trains stopped running. Waited for 4 hours, freezing, no available seats, together with hundreds of other stranded passengers. We took a flight the next day instead.
It was all due to power shortage at the Edinburgh train station!
and turned 83 years old!
We left Dubai and went to Naarden.
In Hilversum we attended a concert of oma’s choir.
 
We had dinner in aunt Carla and uncle John’s place. In Remko and Karolina’s house Remko showed us his gecko’s.
We visited Amsterdam (where we met Serge) and Marken.
We took the train to Paris.
And took the train to Barcelona where we had dinner with the Spanish ‘family’ (and my godparents Diego and Sara).
